Computer Arts has teamed up with bespoke performance cyclewear brand Milltag to bring you the chance to design your very own cycling jersey.
If, like us, you fancy the idea of rocking the roads in your own, bespoke kit – and reckon you can do better than what's already out there – then now’s your chance to get creative.
All you have to do is download Milltag's jersey template and put pen to paper...
How to enter
Design-wise, anything goes. To enter, simply submit your creation to email@example.com by 20 July 2015.
The winning jersey will be judged by a panel consisting of Milltag head honchos Ed Cowburn and Pete Kelsey, Creative Bloq commissioning editor Julia Sagar, Computer Arts editor Nick Carson and art editor Jo Gulliver.
After judging, the successful design will go into production immediately and the lucky winner will receive a copy of their very own cycling jersey.
Here's the good part: Milltag will also transfer the winning design to a cap and bibs for the successful winner – so while this shouldn't dictate your jersey design (judges will look only at the jerseys), do consider how your design might translate onto other items.
Be seen on the roads
Milltag will also make the successful jersey design available for print-on-demand purchase via the brand's website, alongside its fine heritage of creative collaborations with talented designers and artists around the world.
IP stays with the designer, and the winner will be paid a royalty for every one sold.
Milltag was launched by Cowburn and Kelsey, two London-based graphic designers with a passion for life in the saddle, in 2010. Unable to find a jersey that wasn’t plastered in sponsors’ logos or simply generic, the pair began creating their own designs and collaborating with global artists to produce high quality technical cycle-wear with personality.
