Top image manipulators can spend days preparing images for publication, but if you've only got a matter of hours to make improvements, you'll need to become adept at quick touch-ups. In this project, we bring you some fast retouching tips for livening up your images and making them more appropriate for specific briefs.
In Part 1, the model was shot for a magazine cover. We needed to make hermore obviously blonde, adjust her eye colour to fit with the other colours on the cover and brighten up her lips. Parts 2, 3 and 4 demonstrate how to apply eye make-up, revitalise tired eyes and remove stray hairs. These small adjustments may be all you need to make your photographs stand out.
