All you need to know about Amazon Prime Early Access sale 2022
When is the Amazon Prime Early Access sale 2022?
Amazon will be running a new members-only sale this year dubbed the Amazon Prime Early Access sale. Why 'early access'? The idea seems to be that it will offer Prime members access to Black Friday-style deals but over a month earlier. The sale will begin on Tuesday 11 October at midnight Pacific Time in the US (8am in the UK), and will run for 48 hours, ending at 11.59pm (PT) / 7:59am (BST) on Thursday 13 October. As always, we recommend keeping an eye on the deals below in the run up to the event in case any good deals come up in the meantime.
Will there be graphics cards deals in the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale?
We think there will probably be at least a handful of exclusive Amazon Prime Early Access graphics card deals. During the annual Prime Day sale in July, we saw a clutch of member-only deals on Nvidia graphics cards, and we expect to see something similar in this second sale event.
Of course, Amazon has never run this exact sale before, so it's too early to say whether it will include more, fewer or around the same number of discounts as during its established Prime Day event. Whatever happens, we'll be linking to the best Amazon graphics card deals below.
Is Prime free during the Prime Early Access sale?
Access to the benefits of Amazon Prime, including members-only discounts, requires a Prime subscription, but you can access deals in the Prime Early Access Sale for free if you're not already a Prime member. You can do that be signing up for a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial. The sale is less than a month away, you can sign up now to use your trial Prime membership to access any deals, and you can always cancel afterwards if you don't want the other benefits.
What Amazon Prime Early Access graphics card deals should I look for?
During Prime Day in July, most of the Prime Day graphics cards deals that we saw were on Nvidia products, especially on Gigabyte, Asus ROG and EVGA versions of Nvidia's graphics cards. Those would be the products we most expect to see reduced in any Amazon Prime Early Access graphics cards deals, though there's always a chance we may see some AMD graphics cards reduced too. We'll link to the best current deals below, and we'll be updating these regularly as the sale approaches.
