Package design
This tutorial shows you step by step how to create a simple package that can be personalised to showcase your work or CV in a professional manner.
Packaging is a key factor in design these days. It's so crucial on so many levels - practicality, protection and, of course, design. In many cases the design of a package is the first thing we see when confronted with any type of product.
So if you're considering sending out examples of your design work to potential clients or employers, it's essential that you do something different to make your work stand out from the rest. Consumers react immediately to package shapes, textures and colours and we're all influenced by them when making decisions. So sending your work encased in a cleverly designed package will give it an exclusivity that shows you've made the effort to go that little bit further.
All you need is card, scissors, a printer and, of course, some sticky-back plastic - very Blue Peter!
