Generate, the web design conference from net magazine (opens in new tab) and Creative Bloq, returned to Manhattan's New World Stages last week for its second New York event.

It was an astonishing, fascinating and frequently mesmerising day, with the issues it raised sparking furious debate during both the breaks and the rooftop after-party.
