The 1960s Mad Men get a 21st century update
Designers at stock photography agency Shutterstock transport Mad Men characters into 2013 with this awesome graphic series.
As American period drama Mad Men returns to screens for its sixth and penultimate season, designers over at Shutterstock set their sights on its characters and developed this brilliant set of graphic prints.
On the Shutterstock blog, the team comment, "The impact the show has had on modern culture can’t be overestimated, its influence permeating everything from filmmaking to fashion. But while it’s been steadily making everything old new again, we can’t help but wonder what things would look like if Don Draper and company were heading to work in 2013."
The result of that wonder is a set of clever portrayals of each character through an everyday symbol from their daily lives, transformed through a 21st century lens. Which is your favourite?
