Apple Watch Black Friday deals are unlikely to get better than this! Right now Amazon has an unprecedented $70 off the Apple Watch SE 2nd gen – now ~~$249~~ $179. Suffice it to say, this is the cheapest that this or any Apple Watch has ever been

The 2nd generation Apple Watch SE was released in September 2022. While it's a more economical smartwatch than the Apple Watch Series 8 or 9, we think it covers all of the basics most people want: compatibility with other Apple devices, including iPhone to answer calls and texts, cycle and activity tracking, GPS, voice control, heart rate monitoring and a customisable display. We also find it to be the most comfortable Apple Watch to wear.

Overview: This is the latest version of Apple's more economical smartwatch. Released in September 2022, it doesn't have the always-on display or full range of health tracking features as the more expensive Apple Watch Series 9, but we think it covers most people's needs, with excellent apps, iPhone integration and a lightweight, premium design.

Price history: The cheapest price we had seen until now was $199 during the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days in October. These Black Friday deals beat that price by $30 and are the cheapest prices we've seen for a new Apple Watch. This is a big saving considering the already quite economical price of this watch. Best Buy also has a Black Friday deal, but it's not quite a good.

Reviews: We gave this Apple Watch a 4.5 star review, noting that it was "as smooth, fast and flexible as Apple's more expensive smartwatches, with all the app support you could want" while the new lighter build makes it perhaps Apple's most comfortable watch.
