Work brighter with these discounted monitor light bars

After six years of taking my home office seriously – from picking my favourite ergonomic office chair to the best feeling mechanical keyboard – I'm finally ready to put the final piece of the puzzle together, and get a monitor light bar.

It started by me buying one for my partner, as she pulled the short straw when it came to office positioning in a dark spare room. The affordable light bar that I got her was the $40 Quntis monitor lamp, and it totally transformed her set up.

I'm now getting in the luxury $200 BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2, with its sensor feature that turns on when you sit up at your desk, and offers a back as well as a front light. I'll write up my experience when I get that, but from personal experience, I know that you don't have to spend a lot to get a meaningful upgrade in work desk lighting.
