Instant cameras are trending! Get 39% off Polaroid, Lomography and Instax
In a world of screens and smartphones, pretty much everyone now owns one of the best camera phones or raves about some of the best iPhones for photography. But what about instant photography? I'm a huge advocate for more traditional methods of image making, and I absolutely love tinkering with film cameras, manually processing film in darkrooms and the unique quality of 80s retro cameras.
Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday physical photo print, and this Black Friday – I've rounded up several instant camera deals from top brands that can hopefully add a little bit of nostalgia back into your life or, at the very least, will look pretty on your camera shelf.
These products are a great choice for any photo enthusiasts (and make for excellent stocking fillers too). I own the Instax Mini 99 camera, which I adore, and have also tested a few others like the Instax Wide 400 and Lomography Lomo Wide Glass for our sister site, TechRadar, and had a ton of fun shooting with them.
See our picks of the best Instax film designs for recommendations, or take a look at these 6 best instant cameras if you need more convincing.

I own this instant camera from Fujifilm, and I absolutely love its sleek black design. The manual control dials let you get real creative with your instant prints and add unique colours and even light flares to your printed shots.
The best deal I've seen on this camera is at Walmart, where you can get it for the same price as everywhere else, but with a 40-pack of Instax mini film thrown in (this is worth around $50 on its own).

Personally, I think Polaroid instant cameras are a thing of beauty, and the 3rd generation offers improved sensors for sharper shots, a two-lens autofocus system, and double exposure modes.
It's compatible with both Polaroid i-Type Film and 600 Film, although neither of these are as affordable or widely available as Instax film (expect to pay around $3 per shot).

I reviewed this Fujifilm printer back when I worked on our sister site, Digital Camera World, and I love that it prints any image from your smartphone or camera out onto real Instax film.
This is the lowest price we've seen the Link Wide fall to, which matches last year's Black Friday offer. It's priced as high as $230 elsewhere. The US tariffs might have something to do with this price hike, but if you want the Mocha grey version, expect to pay $129.99 at Target.
UK Deal – £139.99 £89 at Amazon

This instant camera from Fujifilm had a better deal last Black Friday when it was down to only $134.99, but again, I think the ongoing tariff situation in the US might have something to do with the increase we're seeing.
Prefer a bundle? Save 10% with this Amazon deal, including 20 shots for $189.95.
In any case, if you prefer shooting wider prints, then you'll love the Instax Wide 400. It's incredibly easy to use, and takes great photos (it's just a shame about that awful camo green colour). See my Instax Wide 400 review for details.

The Instax Mini Evo is the ultimate hybrid digital instant camera that can not only capture amazing analogue photos, with the option to add creative effects in-camera, but it can optionally print them (not automatically) and print images from your smartphone too.
It usually retails for £179, sometimes as high as £199 – but right now it's down to the lowest price ever at Urban Outfitters for only £157! If you prefer a bundle with a case, photo Album & Instax Mini Film included, then John Lewis has a deal for £189.99.
You'll find with instant photography that not every photo comes out clear, and this way (by getting to choose which images print) you can cut down on wasted film.
