Umm, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is 74% off right now
This has to be a mistake, right?
I've been waiting 2 years for the Samsung Galaxy Ring to drop to what I deem a reasonable price, and that day has finally come. Right now, UK shoppers can get the Samsung Galaxy Ring for only £104.99 over at Amazon, down from the usual £399 price at launch.
But wait, there's a catch. While this deal is totally legitimate, it only applies to ring size 5 (all colour variants) or ring size 6 (Titanium Black). You can get other ring sizes, but prepare to pay close to full price for it, sadly. When I last visited Samsung HQ in London, I tried the ring sizing kit and determined that my Ring size was 10.
Now, I don't have particularly large or skinny fingers, so this leads me to believe that the average person might struggle to fit a size 6 ring on their finger, which could perhaps mean Samsung is shifting overstock?
I also happened to notice that the Galaxy Ring is unavailable online from Samsung's Official UK store. What might this suggest? In any case, this could be seen as a bittersweet deal, but I've got all the details you need on it below. Not familiar with this wearable tech? Check out my Smart ring explainer.

We haven't seen many deals on the Galaxy Ring outside of seasonal sales events like Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, and even then it wasn't much. This is the biggest price cut I've seen since the product's release.
This is a mega deal on Samsung's first-ever smart ring, and it's unfortunate that only a fraction of customers will be able to benefit from it. With that said, it's still worth the purchase as a great option for fitness and general wellness tracking with useful insights.
