LIVE: There's a standout deal on the iPad Air this Black Friday
Offers on the iPad, iPad Pro and iPad Air include record lows.
It's Black Friday and there are plenty of deals to be had on Apple's iPad. Are these deals groundbreaking? Probably not. Are they the best we've ever seen? Yes, in some cases. And will they save you some money, yes they will.
The most exciting deal is on the iPad 11-inch, which is at a record low on Amazon, it'll cost you $274, down from $349. It costs £296.36 in the UK (another record low).
On the iPad Air, there's a great deal at Amazon, this capable tablet (11-inches, 128GB, WiFi) is available for just $449. That's a real bargain for an iPad Air, which in my opinion is the best pick for most people and it's the lowest price it's been.
In terms of the iPad Pro (13-inch, 512GB), there's $100 off at Amazon right now, bringing the price down to $1,399.99. This is another record low.
Why should you trust us? Well we've been writing about the iPad and deals on Apple products for much longer than we care to remember. Below are our top picks for iPads as we scour the internet for the best prices Black Friday has to offer us.

The Air is at the top of our best iPad for drawing guide for a reason. This is the newest model and it's excellent for drawing, light creative work like photo editing.
This is the lowest price we've seen on this M3 Air, which was only released this year.

This iPad Pro 13-inch is the mother of all iPads. This beast comes with 512GB of storage and will do pretty much anything you ask of it at lightning speed. Okay, not everything, but you get my drift.

This is a record low price for the very capable iPad Air. This iPad will be good enough for most people though we recommend the Air or the Pro for artists as they're that much nippier.

Best for power users like video editors or 3D artists, the iPad Pro M5 has an amazing screen and is almost as powerful as a laptop. Compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, and super speedy, this is for pro users with a pro price tag – though this deal helps.

The iPad is excellent value, with the power of this tablet confusing our reviewer, who said it totally redefined the concept of a basic iPad. Great for every day tasks and light creative work. This is the lowest price ever.

Astropad's Rock Paper Pencil is now $44.99 $35.99 on Amazon, and is a lifesaver if you use your iPad for digital art. I've been using it for three years and am now on the v3.0 edition. Basically, Rock Paper Pencil is an etched screen protector that reduces the gloss of the iPad display and feels closer to drawing on paper, or a traditional drawing tablet like a Wacom Cintiq Pro. It comes with a ballpoint metal replacement tip designed to be used with the protector for extra precision (not to be used directly on the iPad screen).
You can find out more in my Rock Paper Pencil review.
Fun fact, my iPad Pro Magic Keyboard is battered, bruised, and shredded at the edges, so it looks like a new one is in order of the day for Black Friday. While there are cheap deals, I'm sticking with brands I trust – Belkin, Logitech and Apple – so here are some of the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard offers I've found today:
Just got a shiny new iPad Pro in the sales? Well then, you'll want to start getting creative, and that means apps. Below are my favourite art apps; they're all either free or inexpensive, but bursting with great features, and tailored to iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro.
• Procreate is a no-brainer, the best digital art app on iPad, or even across all platforms, and has features tailored to Apple Pencil Pro's features.
• Procreate Dreams is the cel-animation spin-off from Procreate is perfect for hobbyists but also pro animators and graphic designers.
• ZBrush for iPad is the industry-standard 3D sculpting software on iPad. It's so good that Maxon is redesigning the new desktop edition around this UI.
• Adobe Fresco is a free digital painting app that mixes vector and raster art for a more natural-media effect. It's beautifully easy to use.
• Clip Studio Paint is a little fiddly to use, but it's a great app for comics, manga, illustration, and animation projects.
Something to keep an eye on when looking at iPad deals, especially those that appear too good to be true, is the age of the tablet. It may seem obvious, but even super old iPads are capable tablets, up to a point. But older tablets won't be updated with the latest iOS, which is crucial.
Here's a list of the oldest iPad models that are still getting iOS updates as of 2025:
• The base-model iPads from 2018 onward.: iPad (8th generation), iPad (9th generation), iPad (10th generation).
• iPad mini (5th generation, 2019) and newer (i.e. also 6th gen, etc.).
• iPad Air (3rd generation, 2019) and later Air models (including M2/M3 Airs).
• The iPad Pro line from 2018 onwards remains supported: iPad Pro 11‑inch (1st generation) and later, and iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (3rd generation) and later.
With so many iPads released over the years, it can be tricky to figure out which one is right for you, especially on Black Friday. We have a dedicated iPad generations guide that covers everything, but here's my quick explainer…
If you’re choosing an iPad from the last three years, which is ideal, the lineup is surprisingly simple. The iPad (11th gen, 2025) is an affordable 11-inch tablet with Apple’s A16 chip, perfect for browsing, streaming, note-taking and everyday apps. It’s the one most people should buy.
If you want something smaller, the iPad mini (7th gen, 2024) remains the pocketable option. Its 8.3-inch display and lightweight build make it great for travel, reading, and one-handed use.
At the top end sits the iPad Pro (M4, 2024), available in 11- and 13-inch sizes. With its tandem-OLED display and desktop-level power, it’s made for illustrators, video editors and anyone replacing a laptop with a tablet.
How about an iPad case?
MOFT is one of the best tech accessory manufacturers out there, and you can save big for Black Friday with up to $50 off sitewide in the US and 20% off its Amazon store too. The Dynamic Folio is my top choice for iPad users.
Perhaps you already own one of the best iPads for drawing and digital art, and what you really need is some accessories.
For a stylus, we recommend the Apple Pencil Pro as our #1 pick, and it's currently only $95 for Black Friday, down from the usual $129. In fact, we have a whole guide dedicated to Apple pencil deals, which you should definitely take a look at (they make for excellent stocking fillers too).
One of the best deals I spotted this week was on the new iPad A16 (2025) model for only £299 at Very. I just checked, and this offer is STILL LIVE, so UK readers should definitely grab it while you can.
This is an excellent price to pay for an iPad, especially if you're what you might call a casual scroller. As in – you don't need the latest and greatest M5 chip and don't dabble in graphically draining tasks. If you want an iPad simply for emails and Netflix, this A16 model will do the job very nicely.
Happy Black Friday! Welcome to our live blog dedicated to finding the very best iPad deals for creatives. We've been covering iPad deals for over a decade on Creative Bloq, and know exactly what you should be looking out for (and what to avoid).
