Adobe Live is a livestreaming video platform from Adobe that's helping the global creative community come together through inspiration, learning, and teaching. It's a place you'll find world-class artists, illustrators, designers and film-makers sharing their secrets, answering audience questions and walking you through their process.
And so when D&AD, the global association for the creative advertising and design industries, decided to transform its annual events into virtual ones for 2020, it was natural for Adobe Live to step in as partner and co-host.
Every year, the D&AD Awards reward the most ground-breaking and innovative work from studios worldwide, while the D&AD Festival features talks, panel discussions and keynotes from some of the creative world's leading practitioners.
This year, Adobe has partnered with D&AD to make these two events available for everyone around the globe, under the banner Adobe Presents: D&AD. Which means you can enjoy hours of world-class insight and education aimed at improving your creative practice, for free!
How to watch Adobe Presents: D&AD
Adobe Presents: D&AD features a series of panel discussions and Q&A interviews with the D&AD judges, as well as 'Behind the Work' talks with Pencil winners to explore the components of creative brilliance, uncover why the winning work was awarded, and discover how it was made. These sessions are all available to watch now on Adobe.com.
And that's not all. As part of Adobe Presents: D&AD, creative innovators will also take to Adobe Live to present their D&AD Festival keynotes, to inspire, galvanise and drive forward creative thinking. These will be livestreamed on Adobe Live on the third Tuesday of each month until December, with each session starting at 10am UK time.
Don’t miss out! Set a reminder today to tune in live to the talks at Adobe Live.
How to watch D&AD sessions on-demand
It's ideal to watch these discussions, talks and interviews live, both for the general atmosphere and the ability to join in via the live chat. But if there's a talk or Q&A you've missed then don't worry, you can still catch up on-demand later.
Top sessions available right now include McCann's Mónica Moro discussing the year's best press and poster advertising; Burger King's Fernando Machado on the five-year journey to capture 35 days in the life of the Whopper; and an insightful Q&A with the creatives behind The Illegal Blood Bank, an awareness-driving campaign using real human blood that led to a change in the law. But there are plenty more to choose from, so do check them all out.
