Marcel Deneuve is a digital concept artist inspired by Japanese masters such as Tsutomu Nihei, Yoshitaka Amano and Takashi Murakami. His work centres on architectural innovation, sci-fi landscapes and colossal structures, often created using tools such as Blender, Photoshop, Procreate and Substance 3D.
After dabbling in electronic music, Japanese artists provided the inspiration for him to start his journey in visual art after a period experimenting with electronic music. He began drawing in 2017, learning from books and materials available on the web.
A pivotal point in his development was when he learned about 3D modelling tools, particularly Blender. While he began with robots and vehicles, his focus has gradually shifted to creating architectural concepts and atmospheric environmental design in the sci-fi genre.

"With Lollipop, I wanted to go beyond my original style by pushing colours and forms to make a ‘futuristic candy city’. This is part of my project ‘Onimeon’ that I’m building right now."
Red Howl
“Tribute artwork to Tsutomu Nihei. It was my classic 3D pipeline process: sketch in Procreate, custom textures in Substance, then compositing in Photoshop.
Azzarax
“One of my signature multi-layered cities. Modelled and rendered in Blender, I had to create a huge library of buildings to populate the city, making sure that it doesn’t feel repetitive.”
