Our Verdict
The Woojer Vest 4 is the latest, greatest haptic gaming accessory from immersion enthusiasts Woojer. With more power, depth and nuance to the music and input-provoked haptic feedback motors than the last iteration of the Vest, this most outrageous of all gaming wearables is both more intense and better suited to long-term use than the 3. It is still a LOT, though.

Why you can trust Creative Bloq
The Woojer Vest 4 is, as you might be able to discern from the name, the fourth iteration of gaming accessory specialist/maniac Woojer's wearable haptic vest.
Now, if you're struggling to understand these words other than individually, I don't exactly blame you. So, what is the Woojer Vest 4, exactly?
The Woojer Vest 4 is a high‑fidelity haptic vest designed to turn audio into full‑body physical sensation, delivering a 360° immersive layer to gaming, VR, music, and film. It uses six independently driven Osci™ TRX2 transducers to translate sound into precise, powerful vibrations that wrap around your torso, creating a tactile soundscape you can literally feel.
So whether you're gaming, watching a movie, or listening to music, it aims to add a freaky extra layer of immersion that headphones or haptic controllers simply can't touch.
The Vest 4 is aimed at gamers, VR users, music lovers, and creators who want to add a physical dimension to their media. It’s marketed as the most powerful and accurate haptic vest Woojer has ever made; an immersion amplifier rather than a wearable gimmick.
And is that desirable, somehow?
I wore the Woojer Vest 3, and while I haven't used it regularly since, I've enjoyed the sensation of putting it on every now and then to add a (time-limited) sensation layer for a new game or music release from a favourite artist.
In all, though, because I'm a delicate little flower, I found it a bit much to wear regularly, so I was intrigued to see if V4 would be a little more balanced, or simply take things up another notch.

Dear reader, it was the latter.
Of course it was the latter.
Video evidence of the Woojer Vest 4 in action
As our hands-on videos show, the Woojer Vest 4 is immensely powerful. Using the six rumble motors, it syncs with incredible nuance and accuracy, both to music, film sound effects and gaming sounds and actions.
Turning it allllllll the way up for heavy-bass dance music shows most obviously how powerful the Woojer Vest can be, but more moderate settings add a real, tactile sensation to RPGs, sports games and rally sims, without it wearing the user out within minutes.
My wife, who is an ardent RPG enthusiast, played Baldur's Gate, The Witcher and more games for entire evening gaming sessions without feeling overwhelmed.
Price
The Woojer Vest 4 costs £336/$349.99 at the time of writing this, but please refer to our live widget below for live updates of prices where you are (or wherever you've set your VPN to), as discount events aren't unheard of for Woojer products.
So it's good then?
I feel like the V4 is a clear upgrade over V3, there's more nuance to the haptic feedback, and while yes, at max 'volume' it bores into the core of your spiritual existence, at most sensible settings it's a real value addition. Even though I personally wouldn't use it every time I game or watch a movie in my gaming den/office, I can see the Woojer Vest 4 getting a very regular outing in our house.
