I actually bought this Black Friday 3D printer deal, and I regret nothing

I've wanted to buy a 3D printer for quite a few years now but kept putting it off and waiting for the right time (and price) to get one. I'm pleased to report that I've finally taken the plunge and purchased my first-ever 3D printer, and it's all down to this amazing Black Friday deal with 45% off the Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo for just $159 at Amazon, down from $289, which is a neat $130 saving.

The Kobra 2 Neo was only released in September, so this price cut is impressive considering that the 3D printer is less than 3 months old. To be completely honest, I got this deal directly from Aycubic instead of through Amazon (for the exact same price) as the company currently has discounts site-wide on resin and filament materials. You can get five 20kg 1.75mm PLA filament reels for $69, plus an additional $20 off orders that are $200+ using the code NEW20.

Overview: This 3D printer model is suitable for both beginners (like me) and more experienced users. It has a maximum printing speed of 250mm/s, which if my research proves right, is pretty good and 5X faster than competitors. It also has features like automatic leveling which is super useful for newbies, and a 12.1L Print Size.

Key features: Dimensions: 19.1x17.3x17.3in | Weight: 7.3kg |Control: 2.4" LCD with Knob| Print Volume:12.1L |Print volume: 250x220x220mm |Cooling fan: 7000rpm| XY Axis: Rail|Materials: PLA/ABS/TPU| Print Speed: 250mm/s.

Release date: September 2023.

Price history: For a bit of price context, the Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo generally retails for £229 / $289 but this early Black Friday discount is slashing prices across multiple retailers.

Current price: Anycubic: $159 | Amazon: $159

Review Consensus: I've only had a few days with this printer but it was easy to set up (in less than 1 hour) and it comes with a TF card and preloaded test files for you to start printing right away. Pro tip: tighten the belts on both of the axes' and use the screwdriver to strengthen the bolts underneath for a smoother print that doesn't shake.
