At $64 off, the Amadeus hit an attractive price point for those wanting premium sound without Rex 5 expense. The $139 gap between models is significant, and for many listeners, the Amadeus will satisfy completely.

What's so special about them?

Well, the Rex 5 represents Noble's uncompromising approach to wireless audio, packing five drivers (including a 10mm dynamic, 6mm planar magnetic and three balanced armature drivers) into a stunning emerald-and-gold package. And these aren't just pretty faces: they deliver superb wireless sound quality, with incredible bass, crystal-clear highs and dynamic mids that make the current AirPods Pro 3 sound pedestrian.

The Amadeus, meanwhile, brings Noble's expertise in custom IEMs to a more accessible price point, with triple-layer drivers and exceptional comfort that outshines the competition.

What makes Rex 5s premium

The Rex 5 headphones normally sell for £449/$449; that's serious money for earbuds. But here's why they justify their premium. They're not competing with other wireless earbuds; they're competing with wired audiophile IEMs.

That five-driver configuration (10mm dynamic + 6mm planar magnetic + three balanced armatures) delivers sonic detail and separation that makes conventional wireless earbuds sound congested by comparison.

The personalized EQ system is transformative. Rather than generic sound profiles, Audiodo analyzes your hearing and creates individual profiles for each ear. For anyone with hearing asymmetry (surprisingly common), this alone justifies consideration. The ten-band EQ offers granular control, whilst preset modes let you quickly adjust for different genres.

Why Amadeus is worth a look

The Amadeus occupy a sweet spot in the market: £249/$256 gets you genuinely premium sound without the Rex 5's stratospheric pricing. That triple-layer driver delivers remarkably cohesive sound, with cushiony bass that never overwhelms and transient response that brings percussive elements to life.

But what's really remarkable is the comfort. Noble's custom IEM expertise shows: the asymmetrical design follows natural ear canal contours better than any generic-fit earbuds. That 12-hour single-charge battery life is class-leading too, with 42 total hours from the case.

At these Black Friday prices, the Amadeus represent exceptional value against similarly-priced rivals that often prioritizes features over sound quality. If you're stepping up from budget earbuds, these will be revelatory.
