Design and Build
- Compact and lightweight
- Inbuilt braided USB cable to attach to hardware a nice touch
The UGREEN Revodok 6-in-1 is built with a sleek aluminium casing that feels and looks more premium than its price point would suggest. It provides an aesthetic quality, but it also helps with heat dissipation if several devices are connected at once. We liked the weight – or lack of it – and its compact size means you won’t think twice about chucking it in your laptop bag just in case. The ports are fairly well-spaced ensuring you can use multiple connections simultaneously without crowding, and we especially liked the fact that the USB-C cable you use to connect the hub to your device is braided and secured physically directly to the hub, meaning it’s more durable than just offering another port you need to plug a cable in to. Perhaps one point to consider is that this cable itself is quite short – if you have your laptop in vertical mode in a stand, a longer cable would have allowed the hub to sit flat on the desk.
Design and build score: 4.5/5
Features and performance
- 4K HDMI output works smoothly
- USB ports offer 10Gbps data transfers
The hub delivers reliable performance, especially for external displays as you can connect a 4K screen at 60Hz via the HDMI port, providing crisp visuals with minimal lag. The USB 3.0 ports handle data transfers efficiently, and there’s 10Gbps on offer through both the USB-A and USB-C ports, and we found this made file transfers between drives speedy. The 10Gbps USB-C data ports do not support media display and PD charging functions, so there’s only one USB-C port that actually delivers power, which is a shame, and we’d have liked to have seen the option of an ethernet too, but overall there are enough features here to make this a go-to hub for keeping your cables neat and your desk nicely organised.

Who's it for?
- Ideal for professionals who need to travel
- Casual users who need a desk tidying solution will also benefit
There aren’t many of us who spend lots of time at our desks these days who don’t need to connect a lot of devices. If you’re station from one workspace, this is a very affordable and reliable solution to connect power, external displays and USB-C or USB-A external hard drives to your system, although a longer cable wouldn’t have gone amiss to provide the best possible cable management solution. Likewise however, if you also travel a lot, the lack of weight the hub’s compact size allows you to throw it in a work bag and forget about it whilst giving you lots of options for connectivity on the go.

The UGREEN Revodok 6-in-1 is a well-rounded USB-C hub with great design and solid performance for the money, though perhaps missing Ethernet support and a longer connection cable to maximise cable management and space-saving.
