Introducing Winsor & Newton's pigment markers

Unlike traditional markers, which are based on alcohol and dye, the Winsor & Newton Pigment Marker is a hybrid system that uses pigment instead of dye. “The pigment is specially selected and processed to work in a marker pen system,” lead chemist Paul Lamoureux told us. “A key aspect is that it’s submicron – extremely fine – so that it works inside the capillaries of a marker pen.”
