A new year means new opportunities to be creative, and if you're looking to get your child more in touch with their right brain hemisphere, then I think I've found just the thing. This generic drawing robot by RIVGOT is 25% off over at Amazon right now, down to only $59.98 for a limited time.

Not only is this robot super cute looking, but it can help your padawan build cognitive and artistic skills in an educational way while improving hand-eye coordination and developing fine motor skills. It also comes with 12 coloured markers and a wipeable drawing board, so you can get them started right away.

I wish that I had come across this robot sooner, as it would've been the perfect Christmas gift for my niece. It even features built-in music to help children stay engaged and focused.

Why would anyone want a drawing robot?

Don't be fooled. This is not a robot that will simply draw anything that you tell it to (though these do exist). From what I can gather, the primary function of this robot from RIVGOT is to draw lines slowly and step by step to ensure that children can follow along and, in turn, learn how to draw basic designs and everyday objects.

The description notes that this robot encourages hands-on exploration in children, helping them to develop problem-solving abilities and independent thinking when it comes to artistic approaches.

I would have absolutely loved something like this as a kid. The youth of today are spoiled for sure. I'll just settle for an AI desk pet, or perhaps I'll finally take the plunge and get myself an EIliko AI robot bag keychain instead.
