The web is full of endless resources and tutorials in the subject of photography. But, sometimes too much choice can be confusing so we've picked 10 top sites that will really help you get to grips the medium.

01. Photography Week

Photography Week is a community driven tablet-only magazine

Launching earlier this year and a truly international title, tablet-only magazine Photography Week is aimed at enthusiastic photographers from all over the world and showcases the best international photography and feature tips and interviews with professional photographers from every continent.

02. Picture Perfect

Say what you like about Vice magazine but their photo documentary channel Picture Perfect is so full of photography inspiration, you'll happily lose a day or two to it. Following influential photographers around the world, these insightful films will have you grabbing your camera in no time.

Connect with like-minded people at online photography community 500px

If it's inspirational images you're after then look no further than 500px.  Founded by Oleg Gutsol and Evgeny Tchebotarev, this online photography community is a place to gain exposure, find inspiration and connect with other photographers. And with a library of over 6 million photos, you'll never run out of pretty pictures to look at.

Check out the N-Photo site for all things Nikon

If you're all about Nikon DSLRs, then you should definitely check out the N-Photo site. Dedicated purely to the products of the Japanese multinational imaging corporation, this excellent blog covers everything from getting started with a Nikon to create stunning imagery using more complex techniques. Similarly, for all things Canon, head over to photography blog Photoplus. Here you will find everything you need to know on the various models of the Canon EOS DSLR. The site features many photography and photo editing tutorials, quick fixes and tips, all of which will help you take better photos.
