How to add Creative Bloq as a preferred source

The Google landscape is changing – don't tell us you haven't noticed those AI Overviews that now appear all over the place. But there is a way to customise your Google results to get more of the content you want.

Once such way is to select your favourite publications and add them as a 'preferred source' so that they are more likely to appear in 'Top Stories' and 'News' as well as in the 'From your sources' section.

1. Add via a link (automatic search)

1. Go to Source preferences

Make sure you are signed into Google. Click this link to go to Source preferences with Creative Bloq already selected.

2. Tick the checkbox

Tick the checkbox and you have added Creative Bloq as your preferred source. Click 'reload results' to make it official. It was that easy!

2. Add via a link (manual search)

1. Go to Source preferences

Make sure you are signed into your Google account and click this link

2. Search for Creative Bloq

Search for Creative Bloq in the dropdown. Try not to type the common typo 'Creative Blow' or you won't get anything.

3. Tick the checkbox

Tick the checkbox, click 'reload results' and you're done!

3. Add via an icon

1. Google a topic in the news

Search for a topic that's in the news and likely to have newsboxes/Top Stories (above).

2. Click on the grey icon next to 'Top Stories'

Click on the grey icon next to 'Top Stories'.

3. Enter 'Creative Bloq' and tick the box

Type Creative Bloq and tick the checkbox. Click 'reload results' and you're in business.

So there you have it! You have added us as a preferred source and will see more art and design content in your Google search results.
