When I'm choosing tech, function and value come top of my list. If the product looks good, that's a bonus. But there aren't many things on my desk (other than the speakers) that also sound like a dream.

I'm a late convert to mechanical keyboards. I was so used to the low-profile chiclets on laptops that the key travel on proper clicky switches seemed to make my typing slower. That was until someone told me I was typing all wrong: that with a mechanical keyboard, you hover over the keys since it's not necessary to press them all the way down to activate them.
I gave the F99 Pro a try, and boy has it changed my mind. I've found it more comfortable to work on due to the larger keyboard and numberpad, and the volume control is handy too.
