The Fern's party trick is its Wave Suspension System: flexible fronds that cradle your spine like a fern leaf, responding to every movement. It's genuinely unique and surprisingly effective. Eight adjustments include forward tilt for concentration mode, whilst the mesh back keeps you cool. Arrives fully assembled with a 12-year warranty backing Haworth's confidence in this distinctive design.
Premium sweet spot
What's particularly notable about this year's Cyber Monday chair sales is how they've brought genuinely premium options into more accessible price ranges. The Branch Ergonomic Chair Pro at $424 delivers features you'd typically find on $800+ chairs, whilst the Sihoo C300 Pro's 52% discount makes advanced ergonomics genuinely affordable.
The savings on high end 🔚 brands are equally impressive. Herman Miller's 25% off the iconic Aeron brings it down to $1,448—still expensive, but considerably more palatable for a chair that's functionally guaranteed to last a decade or more. Similarly, the Steelcase Gesture at $1,556 represents significant savings on a chair that typically commands over $2,000.
Why office chairs vary so much in price
Not every Cyber Monday "deal" on office chairs deserves your money. Be wary of models from unknown brands offering suspiciously low prices; they often use inferior materials that fail within months. At the other end of the scale, read proper reviews of the more premium brands, on respected publications including our own, and you'll realise that even though they're still pricey after the discount, they may represent better value.
For example, the Herman Miller Aeron, whilst expensive even on sale, justifies its premium through timeless design and a 12-year warranty. The Steelcase Gesture's optional fabric upgrades can quickly inflate the price, but the base model at $1,556 already includes exceptional armrests and build quality. The HÅG Capisco requires a mindset shift about sitting, but rewards those willing to embrace movement with genuine ergonomic benefits.
