Cyber Monday MacBook deals tend to be identical to Black Friday MacBook deals just under a different name, but we've spotted some rare exceptions. Amazon has just cut the price of this year's M4-chipped MacBook Air even further: now reduced by $260 from $999 to $738.04.
This deal beats the Black Friday discount by just over $10, making this a new record-low price on a laptop that was released in March 2025 and which tops many of our buying guides for creative tech. I don't see this lasting long.
With Apple's M4 chip and 16GB of RAM, this laptop should handle most people's needs in terms of performance, while also being ideal for working on the go thanks to the slim, light build.
If you do need more power, say for video editing, the brand-new M5-chipped MacBook Pro is reduced by $250 to $1,349 – also a record-low price.

The best Cyber Monday MacBook deals
The M4 chip brought Apple's light and slimline MacBook Air closer to MacBook Pro levels of performance with this year's generation, while also providing improved performance for AI tasks.
This is the laptop we recommend for most people as the ideal balance between value, portability and the power necessary to handle creative software for image editing and more.
The new record-low price is available only on the Midnight colour. The silver model ($749) might not show fingerprints as much, but we think the dark blue, almost black Midnight is the most sleek and sophisticated-looking option for this year's Airs.

We found that the more economical MacBook Air is now powerful enough to handle most creative software, but anyone who's doing professional video editing or motion design will appreciate the superior graphics performance of the latest M5-chipped MacBook Pro.
This laptop was only released in November, so it won't surprise you that this Cyber Monday deal is the cheapest price we've seen to date. We weren't expecting to see such a big saving so soon.

When will MacBook Cyber Monday deals end?
Cyber Monday is tomorrow, 1 December, but a lot of retailers are already flagging deals as 'Cyber Monday' this Sunday. In theory, we would expect these deals to last until at least the end of Monday, but I'm not confident that the MacBook Air deal above will last that long.
It's only available on one colour, and often when we see deals like this at Amazon, they disappear once a certain quantity of stock has been sold.
